We are not joking when we say this actualy taste like Nutella. what makes this coffee special is its omni-roast profile which makes it suitable across all brewing methods. Every number — and every note — behind this coffee, published. Tap a metric to see what it means and why it matters.
Where this coffee comes from
Colombia is one of the world’s most celebrated coffee origins, renowned for its rich coffee-growing heritage and remarkable diversity across its many producing regions.
Where within the origin it was grown
Huila is one of Colombia’s most renowned coffee-growing regions, celebrated for its diverse landscapes and exceptional specialty coffee. Its distinct microclimates help create coffees with impressive character, complexity, and quality.
Who grew or produced this coffee
Don Edier Perdomo began his career in the coffee industry 25 years ago. Since he was young, he worked with his father, who instilled in him the knowledge of regional coffee cultivation. In 2010, he earned a degree in specialty coffee production through SENA (National Sena). Since then, he has been producing exotic coffees or those with a distinctive value
The coffee variety grown / What this blend is made from
Pink Bourbon is a distinctive Colombian variety, valued for producing vibrant, fruit-forward coffees with pronounced sweetness, juicy acidity, and delicate floral notes.
How high this coffee was grown
Grown at 1,800 metres above sea level, the cooler conditions at this elevation slow coffee cherry development, allowing more time for complexity and character to develop in the cup.
How the coffee was processed after harvest
The ripe cherries are harvested and sorted by flotation; they undergo cherry-stage oxidation for 36 hours before being depulped. Next, the beans undergo thermal shock using 40°C water, followed by anaerobic fermentation in tanks for 72 hours alongside cocoa pulp prepared five days in advance. During this process, the temperature is controlled, and the mixture is stirred clockwise every 12 hours. Finally, the coffee is placed on drying beds for 20 days, exposed to eight hours of sunlight daily.
How far we developed the roast
A light-medium roast balances the coffee’s natural character with added sweetness and body from roasting. It preserves much of the coffee’s origin-driven complexity while creating a more rounded and approachable cup.
How we think this coffee shines best
This coffee is roasted to perform well across both espresso and filter brewing, offering enough structure and intensity for espresso while retaining the clarity and character needed for filter.
